Dr. Nita Mishra is an Assistant Professor at the University of Limerick, Ireland, and a poet whose work explores social justice, identity, and the human experience. Her poetry weaves together her academic expertise in development studies with the emotional depth of lived experience—creating verses that speak to empowerment, resilience, and the intersections of culture and gender.

Featured at the International Dublin Writers Festival 2020 and a regular performer at poetry gatherings, Dr. Mishra brings a unique voice that bridges the scholarly and the soulful. Her poetry has been cited in academic publications including Irish Feminist Futures (Routledge, 2016) and Partitions and Their Afterlives (Rowman & Littlefield International, 2019).
